Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of a central mix concrete batch plant on a highway paving project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order, receive and track cement, fly ash, aggregate and admixture deliveries
- Monitor material inventories at batch plant
- Blow cement and fly ash from storage pigs into silo
- Perform plant maintenance
- Operate plant equipment: wheeled loaders, man lifts, excavators, water pumps, blowers, etc.
- Communicate with the batch plant operator and other employees at the plant
- Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards
- Perform other duties related to highway and bridge construction on days when the batch plant is not running.
Required Experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- 5 years construction experience preferred

- Wage: $34.30/hour + $16.50 in fringes
